Individual genetic differences in C. elegans affect metabolic changes in organisms

Recently, the three laboratories of Albertha J. M. Walhout of the University of Massachusetts, Frank C. Schroeder of Cornell University and Erik C. Andersen of Northwestern University collaborated to reveal the impact of individual variation in metabolism using the model C. elegans. The research result was published in Nature entitled C. elegans as a model for inter-individual variation in metabolism.
