Founded in October of 2016, SunyBiotech provides high quality and efficient transgenic services in Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans) using the CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, X-ray induced mutiple copies insertion. Besides, we also provide other C. elegans related genetic technical services including genetic cross, backcross, balanced services, plasmid construction.

We have a team of scientists who are experts on CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing in nematodes and were postdoctoral fellows and graduate students trained in top-notch universities in China and abroad. They have successfully generated more than 8000 genome edited C. elegans strains and have provided precise gene knock-out or knock-in strains to laboratories in universities, research institutes, and enterprises around the world, such as Harvard Medical School, Columbia University, UCLA, UCSF, University of Sydney, MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Max Planck Institute, University of Toronto, National university of Singapore and so on.

Additionally, we are actively cooperating with biotech companies to generate C. elegans model to study human diseases and carry out drug screens on the C. elegans model.

Our objective is to build a hub that connects research institutes and biotech companies all over the world to promote exciting breakthroughs in biomedical research and drug discoveries.
